Getting Started
Draw production-ready pipes in Unreal Engine in minutes with PipeIt.
PipeIt is an editor plugin for Unreal Engine 5.4–5.7 that lets you draw production pipes directly in the viewport. Click to place an end, drag to draw a run, and PipeIt snaps real kit meshes — straights, corners, tees, crosses, caps — into place as you go. Branches, brackets, and surface snapping are all built in.
PipeIt is in pre-release. Join the waitlist to get launch access and updates.
The build loop
Everything in PipeIt follows one fast loop. You can learn the whole tool in a couple of minutes — the live editor walks you through it step by step.
- Select a pipe end. Click a red end-cap dot to select it.
- Draw. Click the green + arrow to enter draw mode, then aim and click to lay down a segment. Runs snap to straight, ±45°, and ±90°, and to a 10 cm grid. Type a number to place an exact length.
- Branch. Insert a straight section anywhere on a run, then promote a node into a tee or a cross to split the line.
- Adjust. Move, rotate, roll, and flip pieces with on-screen gizmos. Rotating a junction swings the whole connected chain — joints never break.
- Bracket it. Drop brackets that trace onto nearby walls and surfaces and clamp the run in place.
Try it now — no install
The fastest way to understand PipeIt is to use it. The in-browser editor is the real plugin runtime compiled to the web: same graph core, same snapping, same kits. Build a network, branch it, bracket it — then bring that workflow into your own project.
